A full circle approach
We undertook a collaborative project with the furniture power-house Coco Republic. The project centred on the development of an in-store cafe 'L'Americano Espresso Bar'. The original venue is in the heart of Alexandria, Sydney. The cafe combines Coco Republic's signature American design aesthetic and Vittoria Coffee's rich Italian heritage.
Brand Building
With a focus on ritualising the coffee experience within the cafe setting, all café items were developed in collaboration with Coco Republic. The design aesthetic draws upon Vittoria Coffee's authenticity and appreciation for great design.
The Concept
The café’s aesthetic is inspired by the character Dickie Greenleaf from the 1955 novel The Talented Mr. Ripley. Dickie embodies a passion for life's finer pleasures—jazz, coffee, and the relaxed lifestyle of the Italian Riviera. The concept aims to create a space and experience that reflects the essence of this charismatic character.
Logo & Iconography
The fist step in the collaboration was developing the brand identity for the cafe. Our internal design team worked closely with Coco Republic to develop the cafe name, logo and visual identity that permeates throughout the venue.
Fit Out & Activation
Custom machinery and signage play a crucial role in enhancing the site's appeal.
Customised Touch Points
Jointly we worked on the development of the various touch points associated with the elevated coffee experience. The project features bespoke elements such as branded coffee cups, customised equipment, hand-painted gold leaf signage, brass point of sale, packaging and various serving solutions.
Bespoke Crockery
Unique crockery was designed and crafted by the esteemed ceramic artist Bridget Bodenham.
Events
We proudly offer continuous support for events such as the annual Sydney Indesign talks, hosted at the Coco Republic showroom.
Digital & Social
We developed a series of still and video digital content and employed a geo-targeted marketing campaign through social media advertising to drive awareness and foot traffic.

We have continued to provide support through the roll out of the brand across multiple new sites.
